I just brought in a cincinnati milacron avenger 200ms with an acramatic 850sx control. I have been playing with it for a day now. I've noticed that some of the buttons on the operator panel aren't working. The ones that do work make a faint beep when depressed. Currently the X,Z,handwheel, and a few others don't seem to work.

It ended up being the diode that is jumpered between the blue and brown wire that supplies the solenoid with power, whew, that is a relief, thought it was going to be a $900 encoder. We have a problem with our Sabre 2000 in that when the machine power is applied, after the control has booted, the axis all begin to move slowly and a drive overload alarm is displayed immediately. This happens even with the federate override set to 0.
