با ما تماس بگیریدGrinding the Reverse Gear. When I first got the XV, I noticed immediately that getting into reverse with my 5-speed required a little finesse. If I try to change into reverse from anything other than an absolute dead stop, I would grind the gear. I quickly found that simply making sure I was completely stopped made the transmission happy.
Your manual transmission may grind gears for several reasons. It may be because of you or because of the worn-out elements in the transmission. I decided to list …
Most of the time, the gears aren't the sole cause of a manual transmission's downfall. In fact, it's more commonly another culprit causing grinding gears that impact the quality of the transmission. Here's a quick rundown of …
Rep Power: 48. My 6th gear synchro was failing and I had the whole transmission replaced under warranty. This is most likely your problem, they should take care of it for you. I had one tech blame it on shifting from 4th to 6th since it was more prevalent in that situation, but it shouldn't grind regardless.
On models equipped with a manual transmission, complaints of the transmission grinding while going into reverse, are the result of the input shaft not slowing down enough to engage the non-synchronized reverse gear. Under these conditions, the gears clash and make grinding noise. This information is applicable to any manual transmission.
As the gear shift is made, a collar slides over the end of the gear. When you hear a grinding sound, this happens because that collar that is colliding with the end of the gear is spinning at a slower or faster rate compared to the shaft in your transmission. To limit this grinding sound, a synchronizer ring is used to match these speeds ...

1st to 2nd gear grind 2018 CS. I having the same issue, about 5200 miles on the car since new 4/2018. Grind has occurred 10 times, kept track of the mileage for the last 3: 2110, 2780 and 4475. It has not happened when shifting above about 3300 rpm, or when shifting up or down between any other gears. Clutch pedal always fully depressed.
If you are grinding up or down it is probably a synchro that is wearing out, and 2nd is usually the first to go. You will probably notice 5th starting to get grindy next. It is probably time to go into the transmission. The reason why it works if you wait, is it is taking longer for the gear to actually stop moving.

If I shift above 3k rpms you can feel it and one time it was pretty bad, but I back off very quickly. My 2nd gear won't even go into gear sometimes.
I have a 1993 Mazda MX6 2.0L that specs 75/80w90 GL5 oil. I've tried a mix of MT90/MTL 2:1 - was better than the old fluid, but not great (ran for ~60k miles). Had a second gear grind that was fixed by using Pennzoil Synchromesh - a MUCH thinner fluid; but the UOA came back with high oxidation and thicker visc (ran for ~25k miles).
Grinding gears is one of the most common signs of a transmission problem. It means that the clutch isn't completely disengaging from the engine while the gears are still rotation. …
Since new, the manual transmission grinds when shifting to second gear. I took it to the dealer at about 250 miles and left it over night. They could reproduce the grind, but stated that no fix existed. Several thousand miles later the trans still grinds into second. The condition only exists during ambient temperature conditions, summer, fall ...
Gears in a manual transmission grind or clash because of: 1. the use of the wrong gear lubricant, 2. a clutch in need of adjustment, 3. a binding or unadjusted gearshift linkage, 4. a binding clutch, or 5. a damaged or worn synchronizer. The grinding you hear during shifting comes from a gearset that remains partially …See more on axleaddict

If I shift really slow and carefully and let the rpms go back to idle while shifting it doesnt grind. Its the only gear that does it and its driving me nuts. Also the shifter seems to pull a little to the right in order ...

The 5-speed manual transmission was rebuilt about 10 years ago. Recently, I've noticed that when the vehicle is cold, I get a grinding noise from the transmission when shifting into second gear, and also that it's generally difficult to shift the lever into 1st or 2nd gear. Once in gear, everything is fine, and the problem also goes away ...

Sounds like the 1st gear synchro to me. Putting the clutch in disengages the engine from the input shaft, so waiting a moment gives it time to come to a stop. If it was the clutch it would do this in all gears. The grinding is 1st gear crunching on the input shaft without a synchro mating correctly while the input shaft is still turning.

On a different car, I changed the trans fluid and started to experience occasional grinding. I think the fluid was too slippery for the synchos.
It's this thingy. They are usually made of some sort of soft metal. Their job is to spool the next gear up to speed so you can shift. If they are worn, grind city. Mine were so bad my truck actually got stuck in third …
Normal for 1st-2nd gear shift at higher RPMs. You will need to drop the RPMs a little more (more clutch in time) to get a smooth shift. High RPM shifts in lower gears can hurt the transmission in the long run. Try using 2nd-3rd shifts for higher RPM shifts for smoother action. Appreciate 0.

The collar is connected to the input shaft in your transmission so once it engages the gear, that gear is also. The grinding sound you hear is that collar colliding with the end of the gear if it is spinning at a faster or slower speed than the shaft in your transmission. Modern transmissions minimize this grinding by adding a synchronizer ring ...

So I filled it up 75-90 gear oil, and hit the road again. It progressively got worse, now it's a hard grind and it's hard to get it Into 3rd gear. Someone said it might be a syncro.
